Small
cabins- This is where idle
camp counsellors stay.There
are ten of these found on the map.
If you need to get to a certain location quickly,
simply go into the closest counsellor cabin you
can find and switch players with someone closer
to your destination. This technique is vital to
your success in the game. Sometimes if you're in
a cabin with another counselor, then switch to a
different counselor, you can end up teleporting
the other counselor there too. I haven't got an
exact method for this, or even proven that it works
every time, but I've seen it work enough times to
know that it's a certifiable bug with the program,
and it does exist. It is somewhat useful if you
need to get a more powerful counselor to a weaker
one, far away, but you'll need to test it before
counting on it. Manual:
"The other Camp Counselors
are hiding in some of these, and they will move
to other small cabins at random times throughout
the game. If you enter a small cabin, you can switch
control to one of the other Counselors by pressing
START to get to the map screen, then use the CONTROL
PAD to select the new Counselor, then press START
again. You can also enter a small cabin that already"

Large
Cabin- There are 7 of these
found on the map. Inside, you'll find a fireplace
that you can ignite, if you have the lighter. You
need to have all 7 large cabin fireplaces lit, in
order to be eligible for the infamous flashlight
and torch. Messages appear inside the cabins with
useless clues. Manual:
"The Large Cabins are
where you'll find important clues and weapons. They
also contain fireplaces where you must start a fire
with a lighter. Later in the game you must find
the torch, the one weapon
Jason truly fears, but you won't be
able to find it unless you light the fireplaces
first. If you find a clue or weapon while exploring
a Large Cabin, press SELECT and you'll get the same
list of functions as you do in a Small Cabin. The
only one you will be able
to use will be TAKE. In the case of a message, once
you have read it, press "B" BUTTON to
put it down and continue on your way."

| Crystal
Lake Cabins- This is where
the counsellors take the children at the beginning
of the game, to conceal them from Jason. They couldn't
have picked a better spot! I find it very frustrating,
having to row my little boat out to the lake, everytime
I hear a distress signal coming from the childrens
cabins. Manual: "There
are three cabins located out on the shore of Crystal
Lake that can only be reached by rowboat. In this
out-of-the-way spot you have hidden the smaller
children, hoping to keep them out of Jason's clutches.
Should he find them, be prepared to drop whatever
you're doing and race the closest teen to their
immediate rescue. If Jason manages to defeat all
the children, the game ends." |

| On
the trails-
At night the amount of zombies you encounter increases.
I suggest doing all the scouting during the day
while activity is at a minimum. Then at night, try
to destroy as many zombies as you can. This will
allow you to earn more powerful weapons as the game
progresses (aka the Machete).
You don't see daylight again until Jason has been
killed. |

|
| The
Cave-
This is where you meet up with Jason's mother. Or
her head should I say! To find her in the cave,
just go over two pits to the left of the cave's
entrance, then you should be able to see a discrepancy
in the rock where it meets the cave wall. Press
up to enter here...it's on the far left of the second
platform from the entrance, so just keep trying
until you get it. note. You'll need the key
in order to open the door to Mrs. Voorhees's home.
Manual: "Somewhere
in this system of eerie caves Jason stores his weapons
in a secret hideaway, but be careful, they have
not been left unattended. Jason's belongings are
guarded by the ghostly, severed head of his mother...who
loves nothing better than to entertain uninvited
guests." |

|
| The
Forest- With the way this
thing twists and turns, defying logic left and right,
it should be called The Maze instead. However, there
is a way to get through it! |
| If
you enter the forest from above, go
right and then down the first path you can. Continue
right and go up the next path you can do so, and
you'll arrive in the cabin. If you're coming
into it from below, first
go right and down at the first opportunity, then
go left and down, then press down again and go right
after you get there, and up the next path you're
able to. Just don't forget the key!
It's crucial that you have it if you go all that
way, to get into the cabin. Just keep in mind that
there won't always be weapons there, even with all
the fireplaces burning, no matter what those stupid
notes say. |

It will take hard work and maybe just a bit of luck
for you to locate these secret places and get inside
them. Don't give up though, there are many useful
things to be found by the bold adventurer." |
