to my second shrine. What can I say about Blades
of Steel....Definitely one of my favorite multi-player
games by Konami. Which says a lot if you can remember
all the great 2 player games Konami put out back
in the good old 80's. I know this is a cliche but,
I can remember spending plenty of nights with my
friends "hitting the
pass" on my vintage nes consol. Fighting
each other one on one for the puck and settling
our differences in a shootout. Those were the days.
Days which have inspired me to put forth the shrine
that you see here today.... |

I guess it's that time of year again. Where players
all alike search for the one thing that's been eluding
them throughout their careers. The quest for Lord
Stanley's mug begins. Do you have Stanley Cup fever?
I sure do. The Vancouver Canucks
are my team! I feel this "excitement"
which tends to reveal itself each year, around this
time. Funny how that works huh? I hope to use all
this positive "energy" towards completing
this shrine as the playoffs unfold! Go Canucks Go! |
