Posted by TRM Upon taking some real time to look through NES Land, I made an interesting discovery myself. Some of The Warp Zone's images have been used as well, without credit. For instance, look at the review section of NES Land. Mega Man 5 review for instance. The box shown is a resized copy of MY Mega Man 5 box, the one which I had scanned it. Don't believe it? Hmm... Another example. Shadow Warriors 2 review. Where is my credit sir? I didn't even bother to go through and see what other images were ripped from my site, I don't even want to know. It seems as though Ernster has now become an images thief also...lovely. Are you too lazy to download a few roms and capture your own images on an emulator? Your site layout leads me to believe that you're competent enough to figure out how to crop and image and save is as gif file. I used to update GOOD stuff frequently, but you lose a little interest in something over two years, including NES and sites. And sucks, since it has NO original or usefull content, or content that you actually made yourself. So the bottom line is, delete this fucking site or stop saying its good, because its not. The reason these sites can "get away with not updating" is because they already have a significant amount of content. Therefore, there isn't much to update. I remember when NES Player first launched. Now when most NES sites launch, there is very little content, but NES Player had a whole mess of stuff when it opened. Groxx has done a masterful job of working on it and timing his opening. And there was a time when NES Player and NES Chedda updated almost daily. I know because I was there when it happened. Now, I like the direction NES Land is heading. It's nice to see a site that finally focuses on NES related stuff instead of crappy pirates and scene bullshit. I'm just saying a lot of these sites have put in their time updating and building. So they have a right to enjoy popular status without having to update. However, newer sites need more frequent updates to keep visitors coming back and to garner attention. It's nothing against your site; just the way things work. ________________________________________________________________________________________

How could you steal the entire layout from a small geocities site and try and call it your own? I've emailed the innocent webmaster of nes_planet regarding your site. Groxx has worked damn hard on his site. Adding more content to his site in one day than most webmasters do in a year. As Oxnard said they don't have to really update anymore . They have about 2-3 years worth of content to read. It'll take a few hours to see everything they've done. Where I could breeze through NES Land in 30 minutes. Update your site another couple years then make your claim about being better than any other site. Just cause a site is old doesn't mean its not worth looking at. And get some other content original content. Every section on this site has been done before. I could name around 20 sites I've seen in the past 6 years I've been around that top this one. It's not like NES Land is the greatest site of all time.
